CANDLE CARE

A little care goes a long way in getting the most from your MIA HOME candle.

• On the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface before extinguishing.


• Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.


• Keep cotton wicks trimmed to approximately 5mm before each burn.


• For wood wicks, gently remove the blackened/charred wood before relighting and keep the wick approximately 5mm long.


• Always keep your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface and away from drafts.


• Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of children or pets.


• Stop burning when approximately 10mm of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.

WOOD WICK CANDLES

Wood wicks burn a little differently to traditional cotton wicks. A shorter wick helps create a steady flame. If your candle struggles to stay lit, allow it to cool completely, remove the charred section of the wick and relight.
